The principal builder, Seamus Hampson from Maghera in Derry, gained his construction building experience from major projects in London. They work with a range of qualified and unqualified tradesmen to complete projects, including roofing, electrics, gas installation and plumbing. However, frustratingly, after being fully paid, they have not completed the work in this project.
After 2.5 years of promises, there is no electricity as the house was declared unsafe by the regulator – there is no water to the sink or toilet and there is mould left from a leaky pipe, and the roof is incorrect and requires 25k of work – other work is sub-standard. Without heating etc, a fine house is uninhabitable.
